An affiliate link is a special tracking link. When you click one and buy something from the merchant, that merchant pays us a small percentage of the sale as a referral commission. You never pay more because of it. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to the merchant's website directly.
ColorSkein is free to use. These commissions are how we cover our costs and keep the site running.

ColorSkein does not sell yarn or any other product. Every purchase you make happens on a third-party merchant's website, under that merchant's terms, pricing, shipping, and return policies. Affiliate relationships never determine what we recommend. We choose the yarns, colors, and palettes we feature based on our own judgment about what will genuinely help you make something beautiful. We are not paid to write positive things about any product, and a commission does not buy a recommendation.
Where we can, we tell you honestly when a yarn isn't right for a project — even if that means we earn nothing.
